#10 - Samyang Hot Fire Chicken
Since our first video I'd say it's. I could probably eat the Samyang Original Hot Fire Chicken now. At this point I thought that the flavor was nice but it always got too hot. But now since I've tried so much hot stuff, I could probably go back to and actually enjoy this like it was just a meal. And yes that's my number 10! #9 - Samyang Ice Type Hot Chicken Flavour
My number nine was the Samyang Ice - Like I have to say when I was in that pool, just everything! It was probably as hot as the original Samyang but because I was really cold and the noodles were really cold due to the dry ice we added in a cold inflatable swimming pool at the back of our garden, my whole system just didn't know what to do. #8 - Samyang Stew Type Hot Chicken Flavour
My number 8 spot goes to the Samyang Stew. It was very fragrant, it had a weird smell and I remember having a smell like it was a perfume advert like one of those Sauvage ads and the sauce was really spicy. #7 - Paldo Stirfried Noodle Spicy (Octopus Flavour)
My seven is actually the Paldo Octopus! I just remember it was so hot and I was stamping my foot against the ground, I was hitting the table and it was just a full-body experience because it was the first challenge I completed! #6 - Paldo Volcano spicy Chicken Noodle
So the volcano was like a step up. #5 - Samyang mala Type Hot Chicken Flavour
Samyang Mala This is the big leagues now where not everyone is able to finish these. The Mala for me had no flavour, it was just heat with no flavour. My ears were hurting and all I could feel was just heat and had no enjoyment as the noodles were so dry so it definitely stuck in my mind as one of the toughest challenges. #4 - Samyang mini 12,000 shu Hot Chicken Flavour
My number 4 is the 12,000 SHU - It was an interesting one! I thought I was safe and was perfecting a strategy by eating the noodles in large mouthfuls as I’d seen it previously done in other videos. #3 - Samyang nuclear 2x Hot Chicken Flavour
This was our third video and also my 16th birthday so definitely a momentous occasion. At the time, I found the Samyang Nuclear 2X really bad! I immediately felt this huge amount of heat and straight away I needed to get a jug of water and was panicking straight away. #2 - 18+ prohibited curry ramen
18+ Prohibited That was just… It was just death in a bowl. The actual sauce itself was so hot, I couldn’t believe it. It was sickly and you can see in the video, one sip of that just sent me to a dark place and I remember just trying to eat it and didn’t get very far but you can even see with Josh that drinking it was something to be worried about. #1 - Culley's World's Hottest Ramen
Now… 2020’s edition winner has got to be Culley’s. What I will say is that I couldn’t even class Culley’s as a noodle. The way you have to cook it, you might as well eat it raw and the mash isn’t really a sauce, it creates a watery consistency swimming with this stuff and when you eat, you’re eating noodles with bits of chilli and mash stuck to it and it hits you like a brick and I didn’t get through 1 mouthful. I stuck it in my mouth, swallowed a bit and knew something was terribly wrong. My tongue wasn’t just on fire, my whole body felt like an inferno and I immediately had stomach issues and my body didn’t want it. For full details on these spicy noodles, click here »

#10 - Paldo Stirfried Noodle Spicy (Octopus Flavour)
My number 10 was the Paldo Octopus ramen, so I put that down as a little bit lower than the Samyang hot fire chicken. The eating was the first part of the real challenge and then the ring stings followed after! But I feel with the Paldo Octopus it was actually quite a pleasant challenge for me so I couldn't say that that was like an extreme heat or anything like that. #9 - Samyang Hot Fire Chicken
My number nine was the Samyang Hot Fire Chicken and the reason why is I think there's always been this original debate; whether the Paldo octopus ramen is hotter that the Samyang Hot Fire Chicken, however this challenge was our first ever challenge so you kind of remember the pain a bit more where as the Paldo Octopus, I was getting used to accepting that level of heat from a packet of noodles. #8 - Samyang Mala Type Hot Chicken Flavour
This is going to be controversial but I’m going with the Samyang Mala. It was a lot more of a dry heat and it was a challenging but that was because I did three packs and Freddy was doing two packs. There was this rumour that it was four times hotter than the original samyang however I do find it notably hotter but I wouldn't put it up there as a top five, so I just think it was a dry spice due to the Szechuan pepper flakes. #7 - Paldo Volcano spicy Chicken Noodle
My number 7 is the Paldo volcano hot noodles and I’d rank this higher than the Mala. I think as well in the circumstances we were in, we did a 5 minute after burn (which I don't know why we had to, as if it was an extra challenge) and the noodles itself was quite notably hotter than the original Paldo octopus ramen. #6 - Samyang nuclear 2x Hot Chicken Flavour
The Samyang Nuclear 2X was the first new edition of noodles that we’ve encountered in the past, so originally we had the Samyang hot chicken and then they released a 2x which they literally doubled the scoville heat units to 8,808 so this was a big challenge for us! Not only that, but we did 5 packs in our garden so another challenge was finishing all these noodles and I was struggling to get to the bottom, I couldn’t see the light – it was a lot of wheat! #5 - Daebak Ghost Pepper Spicy Chicken Black Noodles
For number 5, it was our most recent challenge which was the Daebak Malaysian noodles. This was controversial as we described this as 1,000,000 SHU however this was described within the noodle cup as you can see in the video. The reason why I chose this is because of how powerful the immediate heat was, even though there wasn’t that much in the noodle cup itself. #4 - Samyang HEK nuclear 10x Hot Chicken Flavour
Rightfully so the Samyang 10X is 10,000 heat units which is really hot and we did 4 packets of these noodles! I’ve realised with Samyang that whenever they release a new edition to the Samyang Buldak original, they just amplify the heat and maybe a bit more sauce in the packet. For me, I can take it if I have a burning mouth, the prickly ears is questionable but when you start shaking and feel slightly out of control, you start to panic. #3 - Samyang mini 12,000 shu Hot Chicken Flavour
They were really hot! I don’t know if I was having a good day because not only did I eat mine, but I ate the rest of Freddy’s but yeah with the Samyang mini, even though it was a smaller packet with less noodles to eat, the power and impact of the hot sauce… That was actually immediately prickly ears, runny nose, burning mouth and a new one I discovered was ITCHY TEETH! #2 - Culley's World's Hottest Ramen
I think this one was around 1.6 million SHU with the Carolina reaper chilli and for me, I thought I could actually finish it but let me just tell you, this doesn’t come with a sauce… It’s a chilli MASH! And as soon as you pierce that packet, give it a smell because it’ll change the scent of the whole room. I couldn’t actually finish 1 pack of these noodles. Firstly I didn’t like the way they instructed you to cook the noodles, it wasn’t enough time quantity of water to cook the noodles down so it was hard to eat and it gave me A LOT of heart burn... #1 - 18+ prohibited curry ramen
My top spot for 2020 is the 18+ prohibited noodles. These top 2 are leaps and bounds beyond the rest of the list which isn’t fair but there were a few problems with this challenge: It was really soupy, 700ml as per the instructions per bowl! As we took the first bite, that liquid stung my throat and as we went through this challenge, it was the first time I was thinking, if we were to continue, we’d need to call an ambulance. It felt like someone was pinching my heart, struggling to breathe and the thing that scared me the most was it felt like my throat was closing which caused me to panic.
